How to identify winning Book Ads for Facebook
Today’s challenge was to look at the first book Facebook ad that I am running and figure out the winning features.
It is all starting to make sense but it’s taking some work to get there.
Basically I watch the video once and take notes.
Then I watch it again and take screen shots of each step. I use the images that I am creating of the step-by-step process so that it will be easy to do it again.
Selecting Winning Parts of Your Ad

There are three parts to test.
- The Creative: An image or video.
- The Primary Text
- The Headline
Now what is amazing with Facebook ads today is that if you use the Creative option and select three different images. The Facebook wizard algorithm will test each creative (image or video) and over time choose that one which performs the best.
Once that decision is made then all of your ad spend is pushed to the winning creative.
This process continues with the primary text and the headline.
Over time all three factors become the basis for developing the week’s winner.
Putting all the Winning Parts into One Power Ad
Tomorrow I will put myself through the paces of extracting the winning creative, primary text and headline and create a winning ad using all three parts.
Looking forward to putting that step into practice. Hope it’s not a day of frustration. :-0
Success Steps
I have to say that although I may only have sold one or two books (maybe even none) the fact that I am actually figuring all this out is making me super excited.
Once I get solid with A/B testing I will be well on my way to making a profit with Facebook advertising.
