A jumbled mess
It is a good thing I am giving myself six months to get on top of this Meta marketing because it is overwhelming.
Jon Loomer’s course is good in that he shares things I have not discovered in other courses but . . .
that also seems to add to the mix of “Who can learn all this stuff?”
So what did I learn today that was new or I guess got a little clearer?
- Meta does not show every Facebook option to everyone (knew that a little, but why? What the heck?).
- Some options only show up with certain objectives. (I should make myself more Flash Cards!)
I paused my first ad – it was semi successful in that I possibly sold two books . . . but not enough to keep throwing money at it until I figure out how to improve it.
And I need to know how to figure out how to measure Facebook ad results with Amazon . . .
Amazon Attribution Links

Definition courtesy of Amazon: “Amazon Attribution is a free, advertising and analytics measurement solution that provides insight into the on-Amazon impact of your marketing strategies across non-Amazon channels including search, social, display, video, email, affiliate/influencer campaigns, etc.”
Basically I need to know how to attribute an Amazon link with a Facebook ad.
Amazon has a whole course on this topic. Which is great.
But . . .
I went through two modules and it is too late in the day for my brain to figure it out.
I am getting discouraged . . .
