Amazon Attribution for Facebook Ads

Still in the learning, confused stage of Amazon Attribution

I explored various sources (YouTube videos) about Amazon Attribution but the most help was just from Amazon.

Measure Campaigns with Amazon Attribution They offer a three part course in bite size pieces with quizzes to test your knowledge-

Part One: Total theory but I guess good to know (got rather lost in it) .

Part Two: How to implement it. (still working on this – but think I did it successfully).

Part Three: Generate Reports.

Neil Patel Amazon Attribution Theory mostly – I usually get value from his stuff but didn’t get enough practical to go with it.

Michael J Holmes – watched a several tutorials and videos but wasn’t much smarter after. I did buy his course several years ago and it was fine. Didn’t use it much though but it gave me my first understanding of how Facebook Ads could work for authors.

Still, if there is such a thing as a Twilight Zone for Facebook Advertising I have definitely entered it.

I apparently finished the Building Blocks with Jon Loomer course – it ended weird. I thought I had so much more to go through but apparently that is part of the “Elite” membership and not open to the basic, affordable course. So got through the basics (again).

I learned some new things as Jon definitely goes through things not covered from other courses but I can’t say I am much further along in being successful.

I spent an hour or so trying to figure out Amazon Attribution and sort of got it but not really.

I probably should get a t-shirt that says, “I am too confused – do not follow me.”

Which, is not a good self recommendation for my Author Ad Business. Not at all.

Just hoping that if I keep plugging away at it and learn a little more each day, and practice each day . . . that eventually it may click.

I did publish a new Facebook Ad, this time with three videos that were 1080×1080 pixels and 15 seconds in length which is what Facebook wanted me to do.
